Developed a new enzymatic method for the determination of the number average degree of polymerization (DPn) of the linear amylase-type polysaccharides. Detection and quantification of various soil enzymes and their correlation with soil fertility. Enzymes present in rhizosphere as exudation from plant roots and biological activity of soil microflora and fauna. The assessment of soil fertility and presence of soil microflora on enzyme basis.
