OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE ACADEMY
The Academy has been publishing its official journal “The Proceedings of the Pakistan
Academy of Sciences (Proc. Pakistan Acad. Sci.)” since 1963. The Proceedings is an international
journal and is published quarterly since 2004. It publishes original research papers and reviews on a broad range of topics in basic and applied sciences as well as news and views. All papers are written in English and are refereed externally. Authors are not required to be fellows of the Academy. The journal is covered by ISSN and is distributed to international scientific organizations and universities by subscription and on exchange basis. It is abstracted in Biological Abstracts, Physical Sciences Abstracts, Chemical Sciences Abstracts and Mathematical Reviews. Manuscripts must be communicated to the Editors/Editor-in-Chief through Fellows of the Academy (See Profiles)..

The affairs of the Proceedings are managed by the Editor-in-Chief, 4 Sectional Editors, a local and an international Editorial Board. All correspondence and inquiries about the publication of manuscripts are received by the Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings at the following address.
