Proceedings of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences: A. Physical and Computational Sciences is the official flagship, the peer-reviewed journal of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, published quarterly.  This journal publishes original research articles and reviews on current advances in the field of Computer Science (all), Materials Science (all), Physics and Astronomy (all), Engineering Sciences (all), Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, Geology in English. State-of-the-art reviews summarizing R&D in a particular area of science, especially in the context of Pakistan, and suggesting further R&D are also considered.

The title is abstracted and/or indexed in SCOPUS, SCImago and have confirmed Print and Online ISSN. The journal is distributed to scientific organizations and universities throughout the country and international scientific organizations, by subscription and on exchange basis. Authors are not required to be Fellows or Members of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences or citizens of Pakistan.
