Dr. Kauser Abdulla Malik honored with Zero Hunger Champion Award

Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS) is pleased to inform all Fellows and Members of the Academy that Prof. Dr. Kauser Abdulla Malik (H.I., S.I., T.I.), President PAS has been honored with the prestigious Global Award titled ” Zero Hunger Champion Award -2025″ on December 3, 2025 during a wider, multi-day conference named as “Strike HungerCon 2025” held in Dubai (UAE). It is pertinent to mention that the “Right to Protein” initiative and USSEC (U.S. Soybean Export Council) were involved in the award. As a visionary scientist and national leader in biotechnology and agriculture, Dr. Kauser Abdulla Malik has dedicated his life to advancing food security in Pakistan and beyond. Through decades of innovative research, policy leadership and services in various top ranking research organizations and institutions in Pakistan, Dr. Kauser Malik has strengthened the foundations of biotechnology, agricultural sustainability, food security and has inspired generations of scientists to pursue a hunger-free future. The Zero HungerCon 2025 Award not only recognizes his significant contributions in the domain of food security but it has also taken him and the PAS to new heights of Global achievements.
