Ministry of Water Resources Groundwater Data Accumulation for the Country

Ministry of Water Resource requested Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Policy unit for provision of Groundwater Data Accumulation of Pakistan vide letter No. 2(18)/2018-Water dated September 16, 2021. PAS Policy unit submitted a compiled report to Ministry for further submission to Senate Standing Committee on Water Resources. Fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences Prof. Dr. M. Qasim Jan (HI. SI. TI), also attended the standing committee meeting on November 4, 2021 on subject matter.

Pakistan Academy of Sciences SAG unit collaborated with the below mentioned departments for “Scientific Advice for Sustainable Implementation of Nation Water Policy”.
